The 30-year-old musician has been taking care of Bronx during the day while mama Ashlee Simpson performs in Broadway’s Chicago. Pete’s also been doing some Christmas shopping, tweeting to Ash and warning her, “there’s presents hidden all over the house…no sneaking”. Also pictured below are photos from last night, when Pete had a night off from daddy duty and hung out with Panic at the Disco’s Brendon Urie to listen to DJ sets and sample Hornitos tequila.

| Taylor Swift Gives Back to Schools — Big Time Posted: 14 Dec 2009 08:14 PM PST  For her 20th birthday, country superstar Taylor Swift held a Christmas-themed party for her band, crew and friends at her family’s Tennessee home. “It’s more like an end-of-year Christmas party that happens to be on my birthday,” Tay shared with People. But putting others first instead of herself, Taylor donated $250,000 to schools around the country she’s worked with and attended - the money will buy books for kids, fund programs and help pay teachers’ salaries. “Something I wanted to do at the end of this amazing year and especially on my birthday was give back to something I really believe in, which is education,” Taylor said. “The schools that I went to and the amazing people I got to learn from really turned me into who I am, and I wanted to give back.” Amazing - and happy belated birthday, T!! |

The 25-year-old Canadian rocker stepped out of the store wearing clothes from her own line, Abbey Dawn - Avril chose a “Punk Rock Princess” crest hoodie and a “Shining Star” racerback tank. Avril recently traveled to Mexico City for a charity event benefitting Teleton. “Learn about the world outside of your own and try and do whatever you can to give back,” she wrote on her MySpace blog. “Even small actions have an impact.”

| How I Met Your Mother Films a Musical Number Posted: 14 Dec 2009 06:14 PM PST  The cast of How I Met Your Mother suits up for the show’s 100th episode, “Girls vs. Suits,” which will end with a legendary musical number! In the episode, Barney, played by Neil Patrick Harris, has the chance to romance a beautiful bartender, but she doesn’t like guys in suits! The ensuing musical number, “Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit,” features 65 dancers and a 50-person orchestra - and, of course, the HIMYM cast! “It almost felt like an old-school MGM musical to me. It was a lot of cast and crew grouping together to make it special,” Neil told USA Today. HIMYM’s 100th episode airs Monday, January 11 at 8/7c on CBS! |

Well, fans will be disappointed because MTV has axed that scene! An MTV spokesperson tells ET, “What happened to Snooki was a crime and obviously extremely disturbing. After hearing from our viewers, further consulting with experts on the issue of violence, and seeing how the video footage has been taken out of context to not show the severity of this act or the resulting consequences, MTV has decided not to air Snooki being physically punched in next week’s episode. The co-stars, who play Sherlock Holmes and Watson, respectively, posed for photographers before heading inside to see their finished film!
