| Carrie Underwood Wins ACM’s Entertainer of the Year Posted: 05 Apr 2009 08:19 PM PDT  Carrie Underwood wins the night’s top honors at the 2009 Academy Of Country Music Awards held at the MGM Grand on Sunday (April 5) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 26-year-old American Idol champ picked up Top Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year (a fan-voted category this year), beating out Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and George Strait. During her acceptance speech, Carrie twirled around and gushed, “My baby, I wish you were here,” most likely referring to her hockey player boyfriend Mike Fisher. During the ceremony, Carrie also performed her hit song “I Told You So” in a gorgeous crimson dress, which overtook half of the stage. Check out her performance below!
