The 42-year-old Cleveland-born actress was spotted yesterday out on a date night with main squeeze Gabriel Aubry. The pretty pair went to see the band “Of Montreal” with a few friends at the Hollywood Bowl according to People. They also saw Halle’s former Boomerang co-star Grace Jones. | Michael Phelps Gets Smoked in the Pool Posted: 28 Jul 2009 06:47 PM PDT  Swimming superstar Michael Phelps comes up short after losing to Paul Biedermann (Germany) in the men’s 200m freestyle final at the 2009 FINA World Championships, held at the Foro Italico in Rome on Tuesday (July 28). The 24-year-old Olympic gold medalist suffered his first individual defeat in a world competition since 2005. Biedermann won in world record time of 1:42.00 while Phelps took the silver with a time of 1:43:22. The newly single 29-year-old said in a press release last month, "Romance has never been more important to me so I wanted to celebrate that special feeling with this new fragrance." Her first fragrance, Fancy, had nearly $50 million in retail sales in its first year (2008). Wow! Jessica is also working on a new docu-series, The Price of Beauty. |

According to Forbes, the 21-year-old Bajan beauty earned $15 million in 2008. The mag writes, “[Rihanna] spent the last year riding out the success of her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, which was released in the summer of 2007. The album was re-released in June of last year with additional tracks and remixes. She hit the road in 2008 with Nas and Lupe Fiasco as part of Kanye West's Glow in the Dark Tour. | Avril Lavigne Goes Acoustic For New Album Posted: 28 Jul 2009 12:52 PM PDT  Avril Lavigne’s upcoming fourth album will be taking a completely different approach to her music. “A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal,” the 24-year-old Canadian singer told Billboard. “It’s a lot different from anything I’ve done before. It’s not a pop-rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling.” Avril also tells EW, “This record, I just really, really wanted to sing. We started recording each song, some of them, just with acoustic guitar and the vocal and building it from there. It's stripped down. I love performing that way, so I really felt like it was time to make a record like that. To just make it all about the vocal and the performance, and the vibe, and the emotion.” Avril’s still-untitled album is set for a November 17th release.
