Variety says the story centers on two thirtysomething women who make a habit of romancing younger men and take a French skiing vacation that challenges their romantic expectations. Are pumas the new cougars? Directing is Wayne McClammy, who directed and co-wrote the buzzed-about Sarah Silverman/Jimmy Kimmel comedy shorts “I’m F–king Matt Damon” and follow-up “I’m F–king Ben Affleck.” |

Earlier today, the 19-year-old Canadian actress made her very first TV talk show appearance on The Bonnie Hunt Show. She talked about getting tattoos at the age of 16. Her dad even had to help convince her mom for permission! Shenae shared, “[My dad] had tattoos later in life, [age] 40 or something. I have two family tattoos, so they will always mean something to me. | Katy Perry & Rihanna: Lollipop Lovers Posted: 29 Jul 2009 06:39 PM PDT  Katy Perry and her BFF Rihanna take a lick of their Sugar Factory Couture lollipops at Katy’s post-concert party at The Griffin nightclub on Tuesday (July 28) in New York City. After the Griffin, the pair partied together at Lower East Side’s hot nightclub The Box, where they caught a performance by Argentinean dancing duo the Lumba Brothers. After The Box, Rihanna had McDonald’s fast food waiting for her in her SUV. Katy also picked up some McDonald’s food of her own — a 20-piece Chicken McNuggets and a medium fries. Yum! FYI: Katy’s kickass concert was part of the (RED)Nights music series, benefiting AIDS research. Electronic music group 3OH!3 made a surprise appearance at the concert, where they performed “Starstruck” together. Katy put on one hell of a concert, which Rihanna and Donald Trump attended. | Rachelle Lefevre: The Casting Change Sucks! Posted: 29 Jul 2009 04:22 PM PDT  Rachelle Lefevre is speaking out on yesterday’s announcement that Bryce Dallas Howard would be replacing her as the villain Victoria in the third installment of the Twilight franchise, Eclipse. "I was stunned by Summit [Entertainment]'s decision to recast the role of Victoria for Eclipse," Rachelle said in a statement to Access Hollywood. "I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. My commitment to Barney's Version is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for Eclipse. Although the production schedule for Eclipse is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part." The 30-year-old actress continued, "I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the Twilight audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I've received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit's surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of Eclipse only the very best.” |
| Jude Law Expecting Fourth Child Posted: 29 Jul 2009 03:22 PM PDT  Jude Law is expecting his fourth child with an unidentified former lover, EW confirms. The 36-year-old British actor’s spokesperson says, "Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year. Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made." Jude is currently single and has three children with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost — Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6. He will appear in the Broadway play Hamlet this October. |

The 34-year-old newly single actor, who recently split with supermodel Bar Refaeli, supposedly offered a drink to a lady at the Whisky Mist bar in Mayfair last night after a little mishap. Kate Duckhouse told the London Evening Standard newspaper, “He was coming out of the VIP area but it was really busy. As he was walking through he elbowed his way past and caught me in the chest. I know he didn’t mean it but it really hurt and I would have gone head over heels if I hadn’t been caught. ‘I said: ‘Who do you think you are?’ he said ’sorry’ and I replied: ‘You will be.’” |
| Rachel Weisz Gets Stellar Reviews In ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ Posted: 29 Jul 2009 01:34 PM PDT  Rachel Weisz dons an Isabel Marant dress during press night for her new play A Streetcar Named Desire at London’s National Cafe on Tuesday (July 28) The 39-year-old British actress was accompanied by her husband, director Darren Aronofsky. Rachel gives a mesmerizing performance as Blanche DuBois in the Streetcar Named Desire. The Hollywood Reporter says, “Weisz is exactly the right age for Blanche, and though she can do nothing to make her radiant features appear faded, she conveys acutely the woman’s sense of loss and desperate need for emotional nourishment.” The Daily Telegraph adds, “Weisz rises to the challenge magnificently. Her undoubted beauty is combined here with a fluttering, birdlike nervousness and sudden moments of desperate panic that wrench the heart.” Rachel will be performing at London’s Donmar Warehouse, through Oct. 3. |
